Ah I see now - just the news was around a month ago and Ive been working on other parts of the site. Since then ive been working on a X3 mod, updating and fixing problems, updating ammo design etc.


The site is powered my me Awhile back I used a phpbb2 then 3 forum, but I stop using them because of spam-bots (I had to remove 1 or 2 post a day) and hard to change the design in phpbb3. I remember taking an hour to change some font colour, I thought sod this. So I ditched the whole forum and decided to write my own. At the time there was no arcade for phpbb3 which was another lost from phpbb2.

Since then some of the core modules of the site have been re-written (the user login/members) has been majoraly re-written 3 times (although the current version seems stable). Originally the registering system was based around IP and did not require you to register. Many other modules have been changed cosmetically such as the user login system. My most recent thing is writing an RSS feed that is automatically imported into facebook without me having to do anything. But yea, I write my own php/mysql/htaccess.
